In addition to defending champion Inbee Park and the quintet of 2017 major winners already announced, the New Tanjong course is set to feature all of the world’s top-ten ranked players, such as the likes of U.S.A.’s Lexi Thompson, South Korean In Gee Chun, and three former world number ones in Ariya Jutanugarn (Thailand), Cristie Kerr (U.S.A.), and Lydia Ko (New Zealand), in what is shaping up to be one of the true spectacles in the tournament’s stellar 10-year history.
Former world number ones South Koreans So Yeon Ryu and Sung Hyun Park, 2017 Ricoh Women’s British Open Champion In-Kyung Kim, alongside the 2017 KPMG Women’s PGA Champion Danielle Kang and Evian Champion Anna Nordqvist, will be in the field as the all of world’s best return to the prestigious venue to fight it out for a share of the US$1.5 million purse.
The HSBC Women’s Champions will be held 1-4 March, at the New Tanjong Course at Sentosa Golf Club.
